How it all started

The vision behind Seaside Krioyo was born from a deep connection to the island, its vibrant culture, its bountiful land, and the warm, welcoming spirit of its people. The founder, a local chef with a love for both traditional and modern cuisine, wanted to create a space that would celebrate Bonaire’s unique flavors while also embracing the creativity and innovation that modern culinary techniques offer. The concept was inspired by the diverse ingredients that define Bonairean cooking: the sweetness of local watermelon and pumpkin, the comforting taste of funchi, and the fresh catch from the surrounding Caribbean waters to name a few.


But it wasn’t just about the food. The founder envisioned a place where both locals and visitors could come together, relax by the sea, and experience the taste of Bonaire in every bite and sip. The restaurant’s location by the beach was carefully chosen to provide the perfect backdrop for this vision, a place where the beauty of the island’s natural surroundings would enhance the dining experience.

Every detail of Seaside Krioyo Fusion reflects a commitment to authenticity and quality. The dishes are created with fresh, locally sourced ingredients, and the atmosphere is designed to be inviting and relaxed, with a touch of island charm.
